The ECO-SEE and HIPIN projects will host a joint workshop on Energy Efficient Building Materials on the 10th of March 2015, from 9:30 to 15:00 in Turin, Italy.
This joint workshop collectively presents two major EU Public Private Partnership funded projects, HIPIN and ECO-SEE, which are developing solutions to support delivery of future energy efficient and healthy buildings.
The HIPIN (High Performance Insulation Based on Nanostructured Encapsulation of Air) project aims to develop a sustainable, energy efficient and cost-effective technology to produce a nanostructured aerogel that can be incorporated into paint, plaster and panel applications, which can be used in both retrofit and new constructions. Meanwhile the ECO-SEE (Eco-innovative, Safe and Energy Efficient wall panels and materials for a healthier indoor environment) project aims to develop eco-materials and low carbon wall panels to address emerging health problems associated with modern air-tight buildings.
The workshop will showcase the scientific and technical achievements of both projects, and provide a unique opportunity to meet the two project teams and view project demonstrators at the Environment Park in Turin. The workshop will also provide a forum for active discussion about any areas of interest in relation to the technologies.
This event will be of interest to a broad range of construction industry stakeholders, including: architects, construction engineers, public and private clients, indoor air quality experts, construction material and product manufacturers, and researchers and academics.
To register your interest in the Workshop and to receive the full programme as soon as it becomes available, please register at this link.
The event is free of charge.
