The Tampere EU-GUGLE project had a busy week filled with guests and summery weather. On Wednesday the 11th of May, pilot limited liability housing company Tampereen Pohjolankatu 18-20 celebrated their successful renovation and savings achieved by revealing the new name and EU plate put on their wall. The renovation hasn’t only decreased the costs but it has clearly increased the community spirit in the housing company.
On Thursday the 12th of May all pilot housing companies as well as the external experts group from Tampere visited the limited liability housing company Ainonkatu 2 that has completed its renovation with focus on the technical building services improvements. The housing company has big expectations on the new system.
On Friday the 13th of May EU-GUGLE project in Tampere received guests from the national climate conference of the Finnish municipalities when a group of municipal climate workers visited Pohjolankatu pilot. Lots of discussion took place concerning for example the importance of the demonstration projects for the municipalities and the influence of real life examples. The electrical noticeboards in the stairway caused astonishment as the housing company had even written a welcoming text to the group.
